Hi there. Please feel free to opine on the following quote I've been given for a fitout of a coffee shop 54 sqM

The buider has come up with a quote of €55k, it includes

    -strip out of premises
    -electrics
    -flooring
    -tiling
    -plumbing (toilet installation etc)
    -ventialtion
    -carpentry
    -painting
    -materials
    -skip hire
    -insurance
    -construction of partition walls etc

I know it's difficult for you to gauge from this post?

Is this typically the going rate?

or is it a bit excessive?

    Opinions welcome, thanks

    What did your architect say?

Is that including compliance with FSC/DAC requirements ?

Hi there. Yes compliances are included. The architect didn't say whether or not the price was extreme. It was in fact a builder that she recommended

After doing a bit of research, it looks like fitouts on average for an office at least are about €1400 per sq meter. So it actually seems to be a decent price

Not really enough info to comment.

Best of luck with the project. Make sure you are familiar with your responsibilities as a client. Contractural, HSA, permits, insurances etc

What part of Ireland is this? Sounds a bit low for my area.
