I've activated my Wildcard. Its similar to the FH and the triple hit chip, but I get to keep my City players for free :pac:

all i can be sure of against those that are free hitting is that they'll load up on City. they might be cagey enough to not go too hard on Liverpool or Arsenal due to rotation risks and shít league form respectively.

i'll definitely be getting in Zaha, and either Jesus or Sané.

not decided on what else I'll do yet.

Arsenals home form is actually excellent, but Arseanl could also be a rotation risk, its all in with regards to the Europa for them. Abu is the only one who is 100% as he is cup tied.

    Is he???

He is a prime rotation risk considering the type of game he plays
He looked shattered the last game or 2 after the hour mark
He will play but no more than an hour and possibly only 20/30 minutes
I certainly wouldn’t have him away to an improving West Brom ahead of Jesus At home to Swansea

Would appreciate thoughts on my free hit team. I am under pressure.

    Pickford
    TAA, Keane, Mustafi
    Sterling, Zaha, Salah, KDB
    Firmino, Jesus, Aubemenyang
    Subs: Kenedy and Long (Burnley)

You're missing a keeper, Firmino could be rested with CL semi on horizon.

Good team I think but who is your 5th midfielder in case Firmino/Salah doesn't play?

What's wrong with Pickford? Big Sam vs Rafa could be a nil all quite easily.

Yeah you could be right about Firmino, I will make a last minute decision on that one. The only thing is I doubt Klopp wants a player going into the Roma game in Anfield having not played in 10 days.

I could bring in Gudmundsson for Kennedy actually.

Its the impossible scenario for Klopp. Don't play for 10 days before Roma = potentially not fresh. Play 3 days before Roma = potential fatigue.

Personally I think the latter (with the added risk of injuries) may end up being more significant. Would expect a team like Karius, Clyne, Klavan, Van Dijk, Moreno, Milner, Henderson, Chamberlain, Mane, Solanke, Ings. Salah and Firmino probably to play some minutes off the bench so they're not completely out of routine.

My opinion (I stress opinion) on the Liverpool rotation issues is that I think Salah and Firmino will start. Mane may, but he’s played the most minutes recently so is the top candidate to be rotated. TAA is at risk as Klopp needs to get minutes into Clyne, but the spot is TAAs to lose now.

Firmino and Salah sat out the Everton game so that was their rest and I think Klopp will play a complete shadow squad in GW36.

In light of that I’m not sure he would want his in form players to go 10 days without a game, followed by another 8 before the return leg. Klopp is a big believer in ‘rhythm’

The only reason I think Mane is the least likely to be rotated is he is the most dispensable of the 3. If Salah or Firmino pick up a knock unnecessarily, you’re talking some serious sleepless nights.

Now you don’t wrap up players in cotton wool either, but they haven’t been doing that.

Klopp’s rotation in their Europa League season was extreme season also. Although, they didn’t win it so perhaps he regrets that.

I must look into this. I wonder if the league was wrapped up at that point or if there are any other clues. Honestly though, I expect a strong side this weekend.

Has the Liverpool line-up been leaked much this year?

Most weekends, but last weekend it was leaked after the deadline for transfers.

I think people are reading too much into the level of rotation in 2016. There were a couple of factors at play:
    1. Liverpool had no chance of Top 4.
    2. There was literally no squad. Anything happened to a full back, Conor Randall and Brad Smith would be starting. A CB gets injured, Lucas had to play there. Sturridge couldn't play back to back games.
    3. It was Klopps first season. The players didn't have a pre season with him so weren't fit enough to play his style, so needed to be rested more.

As I said, I think it will be a strong team on Saturday (maybe Clyne for TAA, Klavan for Lovren if any doubts over his fitness), the reserves in GW36 and full strength in 37.

Lacazette a good choice? Or Firmino.

Currently playing 3-5-2, with Auba and Jesus.

Arsenal not only facing Athletico on 26th in EL but also trying to maintain their 6th place for next year's EL.

WHU are in danger of being sucked into relegation battle

Auba has scored in last 3 home games - betting he plays

    Beam me up Scotty.

    FH35

    Foster

    Hegazi Tomkins K.Long (Lowton, TAA)

    Gundogan Zaha Salah(c) Sterling (Milo)

    Firmino Jesus Perez

Might change Hegazi and pool players if any team leaks

    Beam me up Scotty.

    Butland
    VVD - Baines - Monreal
    Salah-Sterling-Sane-Zaha

    1. the goal normally come before, doesn't it?
    2. any Arsenal player is a risk. even Aubameyang after Wenger's presser. Iwobi, funnily enough, might be the only definite.

If arsenal make the EL final we will also have rotation in the double as one of the games will be used to get gametime for the EL final team. I'm going to sell auba for Jesus.

Dummet would allow a more expensive goalie like Karius

It's not the money 11.6 ITB
I'm looking at goals conceded away. Pool concede away average 1.47 admittedly against higher teams. A surprise could await Klopp and brom have a glimmer after Old Trafford

Liverpool conceded 15 in their first 5 away games. They have only conceded 10 in the 12 since.

WBA only score a goal a game at home.

On the other side, Liverpool score 2.2 goals per game away from home and WBA concede around 1.6 at home.

Unless the forward line is Ings, Solanke and Woodburn (it won't be) I wouldn't have one WBA defender, never mind 2!

Ederson in goal? Sane or KDB for Gundogan? VVD in defence? Even an Everton defender? Arnautovic instead of Milo and play 3-5-2?

Ederson means less attackers, Gundogan - recent gametime and scoring
    KDB not guaranteed to play

Guess I don't want to buy the most expensive team just because I have the money.
VVD showed promise but not scoring or assisting
Coleman similar to VVd but closer to scoring lately

Arnie is a possibility - good shout

It feels like you're not spending your full budget to make some sort of a point tbh.

    Of course KDB will play.
