    Does anyone know what is the average depth of lecarrow canal? Can one with 1m draft go there?

    About 4 foot you should be fine we had it full with all sorts of boats last year for the puddin & porter weekend.

    I'd say that little red yoke in the 2nd pic is great Craic on a canal especially upwind

    Does look very low in the water when zoom in on the pic. There's a lad in Howth with a boat similar to that probably the most used boat in Howth during the summer out every day in it no matter what the weather
