Wicklow GC €1 Open

    Just an FYI all. Spotted it on Twitter (via a Kevin Markham retweet :D)

    Wicklow are running an open on the May bank holiday, the 7th.

    The fee for the round is €1, so pretty good value! I imagine it'll fill up fast, so book in if you're interested

    Cheers Charlie. Hadn't spotted the post in the other thread. Was going to post it there, but thought it was great value so merited being pointed out specifically in case it got lost amongst the other opens

    Race to the bottom? No.

    More like what it says on the tin... a "Showcase Day". We want visitors to come and play the course, take in the views and hopefully enjoy their day. We actually wanted to give the golf away for free but the BRS booking system requires a nominal amount.

    Hopefully some of the visitors might consider joining or bringing their society back or even just returning for an open competition/green fee.
