You average speed that day was savage for that distance - almost 33km/h IIRC.

90km or so. Up the Wicklow mountains so it was fairly tough, had to get picked up about 20km from home. Just couldn't finish the distance and was fuming as I've never broken 100km!

Canyon Roadlite AL 6.0. Done a few 70-80km spins but not many.

You win. Epic. I’ll settle for 180k in Ironman Hamburg last August.

The Maracycle - Dublin to Belfast about 180 Km with a short stop in Dundalk and back the next day.

On a Raleigh Gran Sport 531, was a beauty, like this one http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=271995

( Think I saw a lad in Portumna on one last year, I was tempted to commit crime!)

I did this in three different years in the 80's, on steel MTB's (GT Karakoram & Dawes Cougar 531) with slick tyres. I made it up in about 5.5 hours one year (PS: I was in my late teens).
Did it again in my thirties, in 2003 (the Border Trek, Enniskillen to Sligo) with workmates, this time on another steel MTB (Bridgestone MB0). It took longer...

220k round trip Osaka to Marina city, Wakayama in 8 hours.

    Riding this: http://ysroad-kanpachi-r1.com/itemblog/2014/10/antresantrescarbon-road.html

It was "Golden Week" so traffic was at a stand still in a lot of areas and I had so much fun just blasting by everyone.
I got so many people waving at me and one parent even held their toddler out the window of a moving van just so he could wave at me! I was so afraid for the poor child!

Had an amazing all you can eat seafood buffet, rest in an onsen and back on the road home.

It was honestly one of the best days of my life!

About 120k, train to Mullingar back to Dublin along the canal then out to Bray, did it on an ancient Raleigh Amazon I paid €20 for, wasnt too bad tbh, the Canal was a pleasure to cycle. The last bit from Grand Canal Docks out to Bray nearly killed me, sore for 2 weeks afterwards.

W200 the year it started and finished in basketball arena in Tallaght, nothing epic at all... but my set up was a 52/42 with a straight 8 speed cassette 12 -19. hence all the climbing was on a 42/19 hardly ideal :)
