Wrong shot totally by Higgins on that green. How often do we say that?

    4:1 Higgins

    Brilliant clearance by Higgins.

Really fine break that. First bodyblow struck. Thought Kyren's only real chance was to get ahead early, bit worried for him here, albeit long way to go yet.

Higgins cheating on the green again. ;) Didn't call the foul himself, luckily the referee spotted it. He grazed the green with the cueball as he attempted a pot on a red.

    Wilson isn't helping himself here.

    4:2 now.

Kyren is looking fairly slick out there now, he’s well in this match and I’d fancy him to get his 4 frames here.

a century for the warrior as he gets back to 4:3

Brilliant 140 break from Kyren to get back to 4:3. Everything in the middle of the pocket, makes the game look very easy.

What a terrible miss by Wilson, hopefully it won't prove costly.

And now a terrible safety shot. Frame over, me thinks.

5:3 overnight to Higgins. Disappointing for Wilson but after being 4 nil down it was a good recovery.
Wilson really needs to improve his safety game

Good recovery from Wilson for sure, but he was only 3-1 at worst. Higgins looked shattered so would ahve to say Advantage Higgins after first session. He'll be better tomorrow you'd think.

E: 4-1 down meant to say.

Same could be said of Mark Allen, who's visibly bigger than Higgins.

It's certainly possible. But think you have to factor last nights session into the equation, Trump really made him dig deep and think Higgins said he didn't catch much sleep last night. Fancy he will be in better fettle tomorrow and spells trouble for Kyren.

Yes he did, he said exactly - "I canney be bothered". I remember that because I recall thinking that If I had his money I'd have my own private gym !

That is a cautionary tale. Has hit hard times now after 12year ban for match fixing
Got prosecuted for selling his cue online for a big price and not delivering it to buyer

And he's not allowed to leave HK because he worked there illegally.

Actually a good player was Stephen Lee, mixed with bad company and paid the price. Think he's banged up in Hong Kong now or will be shortly.

Hawkins takes the first frame with a break of 129 after Williams let him in after missing a risky black.

It's an odd attitude for a top player

It certainly shows in his appearance

Yeah with his cue action he could have had a very good career
