Arnold's decision to crab inside with options on the blind side was poor decision making as well. If Munster can improve the choices there are tries here for them

JP Doyle definitely favouring Munster here. Decision making is all over the shop.

What are you on about? Racing interfering at every break down off their feet. Thats the first one he's actually punished.

Now that looked like it was far too easy.

    Munster getting killed.

Racing are getting the ball so quickly and getting their wings into one on ones. Then Munster are missing standard tackles.

Racing right on the edge of offside the whole time as well. Not a Munster fan, but they certainly aren't getting favourable calls

We're crumpling too easily in tackles here...those of which we're making that is.

Jp Doyle would want to start refereeing the hands in the ruck...!

Ref has been fine so far.

I think lax refereeing at the breakdown should favour Munster in the ling run. A lot of refs would've penalised Stander for his turnover penalty for not supporting his weight initially.

Poor from Murray in defence there

He’s not, the momentum is being killed repeatedly by players slow to release their hands.

Murray and Klyne are not two players you expect to miss tackles leading to a try.

Racing nearly out of sight already.

Another slow start and another mountain to climb

This is poor from Munster. Missing tackles all over the shop.

Even PoM is falling off tackles now.

This game is over. Munster can't live with the pace Racing is playing at.

    Thomas you absolute t***

If that isn't motivation for Munster to wake up nothing is.

Awful stuff. Munster not showing up at all, poor tackling and not winning any collisions.

    Long way back now.

Don’t bother with the link, it’s done.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,906 ✭✭✭✭PhlegmyMoses

They are losing every collision out there.

Were never getting to a final

We just don't have that edge the bigger teams have

The coach will murder him for that pass in the in goal area.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,149 ✭✭✭mangobob

Scarlets got hammered also, but at least they tackled like dogs for 80 mins. Munster are just a shambles in defence. This is the most unMunster like performance I can remember from them in Europe.

Something is fundamentally wrong here. Ever since keatley missed touch, even Murray dropped his head.
Wooton just let a player go in the tackle in the lead up to that try too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

    Wooton is a disaster unfortunately.

Not the only one mind you.

Racing laughing and joking. A lot of work to salvage some pride for these lads here.

Wake the **** up Munster. Just being out- thought, out- muscled and generally outclassed so far. A try before half time and it could be game on.

Munster's forwards have been dominated. They're losing all the collisions and can't get men into the breakdown to slow down Racing's ball. This is similar to yesterday's game but Racing have more dangerous options out wide.

Yup mentally they didn't get the prep right for this.

Teddy Thomas needs to learn some respect, that pass in-goal was a disgrace and could so easily have gone wrong.

Hate to say it but were probably not coming back from this. The missed tackling is unforgivable.
