External hardrrive recomwndations

Hi just wandering what external drives PS4 players are using? I’m looking for 2TB upwards to use with my pro. Do people prefer external powered desktop types or portable usb powered ones?

I have a 1TB Seagate USB powered one that i got in Argos. Cheap, blue and does the job just fine.

I would go with a USB powered drive just to reduce the number of wires and power sockets behind the tv.

A 4TB Seagate is £87 (€98) on Amazon which isn't bad. With the way game file sizes are going I would get the extra capacity to future proof it a little bit.

If you have a preference for WD, their portable 4TB HD is slightly more expensive.

Although for some reason, not as matching as their XBox one, which includes XBox written on it. Maybe Sony didn't allow them to do same with the black drive above?
