Mechanic for 97 diesel Jeep Cherokee South Dublin?

    Hi,

    Someone I know has a 97 Cherokee Diesel Jeep that normal garages simply can't deal with anymore as it needs a bit more TLC than the usual car! Recently the starter is giving up, but we know from past experience that to remove it is either a gearbox or an engine out job (starter was put on the gearbox, then the engine was installed) :(

    He's in south Dublin and has been going down wexford way to some mechanics that were a bit more... agricultural.. as they could do a bit of welding etc., however he is looking for something a bit closer. Can anyone recommend a mechanic in south Dublin that would be suited to tackle both the starter job and ongoing maintenance?

    Just to round this thread off... he found a garage in Irishtown that was willing to do some work, they did the starter and is back on the road.
