    Very true!!!

Not sure if it is Phase 2 though. Surely there would be a big song and dance about it, rather than just viewings by appointment only.

It is the lack of information that is most annoying, has anyone been given a valid reason for the current delay?

Has anyone seen the yellow asphalt on the Green? It looks really bizarre and l cant imagine it will age well. Has anyone seen it anywhere else and it actually not look like sand or the yellow brick road?

Just put a deposit down this evening, delighted!

The yellow brick road is bizarre - apparently it’s the Plan to keep it that way we all need to say to Regency that it won’t wear well at all. Otherwise it will be left yellow .... and we can all click our heels and go to OZ plus it’s even weirder that the black tarmac then is at the end of the Green.... RE delays -
They said ESB but we know it’s not totally down to ESB. Honestly it’s hard for me to even talk about it to people without getting really angry. The agent promised us move in date and that’s long gone now like 7 weeks ago. Costing us a fortune to rent etc as had to move out from our property we sold. Warning for those in Phase 2 don’t believe the agent or move in / snag dates !!

The yellow road did look a bit out of place alright. Hopefully Phases 1 will get moved in soon.

Does anyone know if there is going to be houses allocated for social housing?

Got call saying all 3 beds were bought yesterday (Thursday 6th). There are viewings Saturday and Sunday too. No idea about other sized houses.

    • Registered Users Posts: 11 PeterKlavenn

Apparently the yellow tarmac is a planning requirement by the local authority for all cul de sacs in new developments, so it is here to stay. I had another look and the colour seems to have calmed down and is not so bad.

Yesterday all but 2 of the sub-600k four beds were sold. The more expensive ones (very nice gaffs) seem to have a few unsold.

      Mod Note

folks, this isn't really the place to be reviewing individual staff of any of the service providers connected to the development.

Any updates on snagging or anything this week?!

    • Registered Users Posts: 16 Sassikez

We have been told maybe next week ESB will be connected but just maybe. No snag date in sight.

More paperwork is needed to be signed with managment company... another delay... people on holidays.

    • Registered Users Posts: 156 ✭✭icanmunch

Speaking of, does anyone know what the management fees are yearly?

Is anyone near closing? Such a delay at this stage and not a lot seems to be happening! So frustrating!

    • Registered Users Posts: 16 Sassikez

Not that I know of - agree very infuriating.

Took a stroll through the Kilns earlier. The Bin shed next to Station Manor was particularly smelly in the heat today. I think 6 The Green is right next to it. I'd have reservations about living a few feet from that smell. Just a heads up in case a potential buyer is reading this.

Number 6 is not beside the bins at all it definitely would not be an issue there. It is more a problem for the new row currently under construction .

Apologies, you're right. It's the row under construction.

Speaking of which, there was a lot of storm damage on site yesterday.

    • Registered Users Posts: 156 ✭✭icanmunch

Where abouts are the bins located? Are they covered in the management fee too?

    • Registered Users Posts: 11 PeterKlavenn

You have your own wheelie bins, there are not communal bins for station manor

What bins are you refering to here then Peter?

Nothing more on Snag from anyone? Agent on Monday thought we would get a call from builder for The Green this week if ESB sorted. Nothing since...
