I hear work was stopped on the KCC housing development on Athgarvan road/ Liffey Terrace yesterday morning when residents entered the site. In protest . It seems residents were concerned about commitments given by KCC not been implemented. The residents were supported by Councillor Fiona McLaughlin Healy and Councillor Sean Power was also in attendance. After a meeting with KCC site engineer's work was allowed to continue after after about three hours when an agreement was ratified between the residents and KCC.
