Getting back to PC after a couple of years using Mac.

    1. What is your budget?
Absolute max is €1000, would love to come under it though.

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer?
Gaming, media consumption, some light Photoshop. I'd like it to be as future proof as possible, with minimum upgrades needed.

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows?
    No

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer?
    No

    5. Do you need a monitor?
    Yes

5a. If yes, what size do you need.
    Bigger the better

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals?
Yes, need kb&m, wireless card (prefer not to use a dongle) and speakers. *I don't mind cheaping out on these for the moment, I'll replace the kb&m and speakers eventually.

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking?
    Rather not.

    8. How can you pay?
    PayPal, Visa.

    9. When are you purchasing?
    Late May/Early June

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based?
    I'm hoping someone can help me to configure the PC from one of the following websites that allows you to configure a PC and then builds it;

    https://pczone.ie/

    https://www.custompc.ie/

    https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/

There may be more I'm not aware of.

Also wondering if anyone has ever used https://www.awd-it.co.uk/

Managed to put together what seems to be a nice build including all peripherals for around €950 delivered. Similar build costs €1200+ on the sites I linked above.

Not used them but trustpilot seems positive and they have active PR there.

Avoid the irish build sites like the plague. Nothing but bad rep from people who have come here having been burned.
