Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Will there be a Pope picture ripping up or someone wearing a fancy t-shirt?
Thats a bit early 90s. How about they download a picture and then delete off their hard drive. You know, keep with the times and all that jazz.

He'd make a great priest wouldn't he. We know a priest who used to be a surgeon, interestingly enough.

Should someone purchasing a pack of condoms be followed back to his house and arrested when he uses one for killing sperms?

Irish women can have abortions currently. We just export them over to the UK to do it.

    It's a farce.

We are more adult and compassionate than that I'd hope.

What if a woman wants an abortion but a man doesn't, are his rights ignored? What if a man wants an abortion and a woman doesn't, does he get off supporting the child forever because she over rules him?

This isn't really relevant to the debate of repealing the 8th amendment or not.

This scenario you have noted could happen currently but it just involves trips to the UK or taking pills illegaly in a bedroom

Why do we want to make it more stressful at times of crisis.
E.g a diagnosis of Fatal foetal abnormality
    Rape
    crisis pregnancy

Where did the sepsis come from?

The poor lady. She didn't want an abortion. She wanted a baby.
Due to a combination of the 8th amendment and medical mismanagement she lost both her baby and her life.

Objectivity and factual information versus subjectivity and appealing to emotion.

Favourite gag from the Twittersphere -

Audience member: 'Ryan, would you believe I have an aborted baby with my tonight'

    *audience gasps*

Tubs: 'Eh, thats clearly a Chihuhua....'

Member: 'How dare you, his name is Dermot and his testimony will shock you!'

Its amazing how sepsis manifests itself and how it gets so critical if doctors cant immediately try to reduce the risk

That women in the red dress spouted complete strawman nonsense.

Appealing to emotions does not a valid argument make.
