Hi, I have to get a deed of confirmation signed for €2,000. At the top there is a blank space for "Mortgage dated". Is this referring to the Offer Letter date? Or is this the date of the actual mortgage which I cannot know yet as contracts are yet to be signed?

Leave it blank the date will be inserted later on the day the person who is receiving the gift signs their mortgage. You should also get independent legal advice on what you are signing and get a letter from that solicitor stating that you have been advised by them in relation to the Deed of Confirmation
