Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Celtic vs Rangers - Possible Title Clincher - Noon kick-off (Sky Sports Football)

I thought this deserved its own thread since it's a potentially historic occasion.

Scottish league chiefs have sought to avoid a clash between these sides when the title is at stake. Back in 1999 Rangers clinched the title at Celtic Park with a 3-0 win in a fiery encounter that saw three players sent off, fans running on to the pitch, and referee Hugh Dallas struck by a coin.

But fate has had other ideas and this Sunday game could now be a title clinching clash; a Celtic win puts them ten points clear of Aberdeen with only three games remaining. A Rangers win meanwhile would take them second.

Will Celtic wrap up the title with a win or can Rangers play party poopers and stall the celebrations?

Get them pumped, Celtic. Would be great to wrap the title up today at home. Expect the usual manic first 20 mins and yellows-a-plenty. I'd put my house on a sending off.

Electric atmosphere. Here are the line-ups:
Celtic XI: Gordon, Lustig, Boyata, Ajer, Tierney, Brown, Ntcham, Rogic, Forrest, McGregor, Edouard.

Rangers XI: Alnwick, Tavernier, McCrorie, Martin, Halliday, Holt, Dorrans, Candeias, Murphy, Windass, Cummings

1-0 Celtic as Edouard converts after nice play from Tierney. Goal has been coming.

Great goal, well worked and 100% deserved. It's been practically one way traffic.

Great stuff from Celtic, Lustig with the coppers hat on!!

Gerrard must have a screw loose if he's seriously thinking of taking the Rangers job. A shambles on and off the pitch. Celtic a long long way ahead of them.

Well done Forrest. That's surely it.

He'd be more use to them as a player

Good gsme last month at Ibrox, Murty must be the most tactically naive manager in football. Rangers have been awful

He'd be their best player even though he's a couple of years retired.

Full-Time and Celtic are crowned champions with a 5-0 win. Terrific performance from them and shambolic from Rangers.

Goes to show the disparity between the sides that Rangers will probably be relieved to leave having only lost by five.

What a fantastic performance and some great goals, we really battered Rangers and they had no hope at all today. The Rangers keeper made some great saves to save them from further humiliation
