Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I'm getting married in August and we still have to sort out our reception (pre-dinner) music. I was thinking some light gypsy jazz would be really nice for the reception, maybe a trio, no need for a big band.

The wedding is in Co. Clare. Does anyone know of any such bands over this side of the country at a reasonable price?

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks

Clarify budget, musicians run at anything from 2-300 a man for this type of thing, I only know a couple of guitar players in dublin who do it but theyre not down that way.

Try the facebook group "guitarist ireland", if theres anyone at all doing that kind of thing, youll find them on there. 1 or 2 lads fancy themselves as Django, they know who they are :D. Might even get them for the day if you ask nicely.
