I have several sites hosted by Blacknight on a Linux shared hosting plan.  Two have been inaccessible because the database server, mysql3864int.cp.blacknight.com, has been down since 11.40 last night (or thereabouts).  It's now 6.40 am.   Any idea when it will be fixed?  7 hours and counting of downtime is extremely bad for a website in terms of losing placement in search results and losing visitors.

Maybe it's time to consider AWS RDS **cough cough**

Hi Barry0, the server resumed normal operation just after 8am, we are investigating why our monitoring systems didn't detect the issues. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. Alan

The same server is down again. It went down shortly after 1 AM. It's now 7 AM. Any idea when it'll be back up?

Hi BarryO. We are sorry for the inconvenience. The server is back up and we are investigating why our changes monitoring didn't alert our engineers.

    Regards,
    Conn
