    The first real rain today is here. The ground was wet before but I hadn't seen or recorded any rain; now I can hear it coming down heavily on the roof. There has been 1.0mm recorded so far, that's 0.2mm since I started typing this. It's 9.3C.

    The rain has stopped and the sun is shining here now. It's just turned from a miserable day into a reasonably pleasant one. And the temperature's started to rise. It's now 10.4C. 2.4mm recorded.
