Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ramos is a piece of SCUM. Always has been. There should be retrospective action, too late for tonight.

Your emotions getting away with themselves there tbh

Ramos didn't intend to injure him ffs. It was just an unfortunate landing. Intended to foul him definitely but not injure

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,358 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

If Salah misses the WC, good luck to Ramos ever visiting Egypt in his life.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,380 ✭✭✭daRobot

Ramos is such a piece of sh1t, always has been and knew exactly what he was doing.

Absolutely disgraceful to do that to another player.

Yes, I've gone from neutral to Pool

Ramos purposely dislocating Salahs shoulder there, amazing precision according to some.

But seriously, some people need to get a grip. It's very, very unfortunate but at most it was a tame foul that should have been given. Very, very unlucky he landed like he did.

Ramos had his right arm though, his left got messed up. Definitely cynical at best, nasty way to bring someone down

Sergio Ramos is below pond life, always has been.

He’s always at it niggling little fouls.

Strange to see him walking off with that arm swinging.. it's obviously not broken or dislocated or you'd be holding it surely.

    Wonder what the damage was?

Ligaments, fracture of the collarbone, dislocation then relocation, partial dislocation, seperation. There's a lot it could be.

I hate, hate, hate Ramos. Hope he gives away a pen but knowing their luck he'll score.

I'm not even a Pool fan but that's rotten gamesmanship.

Ramos knew exactly what he was at.

That cynical behavior reminded me of the way Brian O'Driscoll was targeted by New Zealand on the lions tour.

Ramos should be banned from the world cup now.

Respectfully, 100% disagree. He 100% knew what he was doing. Pure scumbag.

Fcking scumbag. Liverpool's top player off.

Wasn't intentional. Heart is broken for Salah though.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

His arm got trapped underneath ramos body, he hardly meant to do him.

*not that I welcome the injury, far from it, but I think lads are getting carried away a bit. Bit of a stretch thinking he was out to hurt him.

I tend to not look at the pool too muchbut jesus comparing the benches they are incredibly weak in comparison to Real.

Salah has been immense for Liverpool all season and to see him go off is terrible (as a football fan) but it just goes to emphasise my point above jesus wept replacing Salah with Lallana.

pulling him down like that with his arm trapped so he couldn't protect his shoulder- that was irresponsible at best, pure thuggery at worst. but Ramos has a long history of being a total goon.

Have to laugh at some of these comical fan reactions suggesting Ramos did that deliberately. Even the biased Beglin and Hamilton aren't claiming that.

These things happen. Looks like Carvajal heading off now.

Salah got injured which pleases me as it weakens Liverpool
    But it's still game on

I hate Ramos but that was unlucky in how it turned out. That said, not sure how the other arm escaped.

Very disappointed for Salah and, somehow, Liverpool (Utd fan)

Thats the same as a spear tackle? Come on.

He pulled him down. Salah would fall 99 times and get back up. Some people lose their minds when it's certain players.

    Real nasty challenge there

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,405 ✭✭✭Lukker-

That looks like it hyper-extended Salah's elbow when he landed? Look v sore but I think he'll be OK for the WC.

When you deliberately drag someone down like that then you are responsible for his injury even if you didn't intend to injure him. Its foul play because its dangerous

Lads, I can only imagine your emotions are running wild
But I think it's an overreaction
Ramos ment to take him out yes
But it was a yellow at best
    He didn't shoot him
