Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    13 European cups, wow.

I didn't see all the match, turned on just before the first goal but it appeared to me that Madrid were the better team (just) and deserved the win, goalie was a muppet in fairness.

If I was a Liverpool fan I'd be livid watching Jordan Henderson captain my team.

Their heads dropped as soon as Salah went off and your captain is the exact person you'd look to for guidance.

And he has just been anonymous.

Thought mane took the salah role going forward brilliantly, Karius would leave me more fuming

Not one Liverpool player went over to Karius. Took Bale to pick him up

I think he'll be walking alone from Kiev to Liverpool

Well deserved win for Real over 90mins, the far better side.

Pretty poor that none of the Liverpool players went to Karius when he was on the ground crying. Especially the captain should be there and pick him up.

Honestly don't remember a time a keeper has cost a club a Champions League Final.

Lehman for Arsenal, the nutter was on a run of red cards and I even said to my Arsenal mate that as long as the nutcase doesn’t get sent off they’d beat Barca.

I can't wait for when Spain get knocked out of the world cup. Laugh at Ramos.

Is this the narrative Liverpool fans will be using? That ramos "did him" with a "hatchet job?"

He fell. Awkwardly. Its the sort of thing that happens 900 times with no injury. It was just bad luck.

The game changed hugely when he went off but lets not pretend Ramos tried to injure him.

Doesn't paint a great picture of them as a group.

Just watched the Ramos/Salah thing there, if Henderson did that to Ronaldo he'd be a hero, it was awkward if Ramos did that on purpose he should get straight into the UFC

Captain, Manager or even one of the center backs should of been first to console him ffs

Dunphy telling an anecdote Hamann told him about Karius having an LK plate. 'He thinks he's a superstar in his own head'. Hamann must have been fuming watching the match.

The Salah Karius narrative really shouldn't be the story from this game. Madrid absolutely dominated the second half and could've won pulling up

Beautiful from the Liverpool fans. Not a single boo for Karius.
I'm saying this as an United fan.
We didn't make the final, City didn't make the final, Chelsea didn't make the final, Spurs didn't make the final. Liverpool did. They had a stunning Champions League campaign this season.

Why did he buy a car in Limerick???

Professionally, he's not good enough. But on a human level, my heart goes out to Karius.

Ya I agree with ya but I can see with emotions running high why you'd shun him which is awful IMO.

Id say the lack of experience in finals and winning things for the team has resulted in them "turning" on Karius.

It was funny the first time but that 3rd goal. Christ it was awful.

All the blame for me is with Klopp. He’s stuck by this joker time and time again!! He should have swolled his pride and replaced him!

Maybe there is a case to be had in nicknaming him Jurgen Flopp?
