Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello,

I will be traveling to Sydney with 8hrs layover in Hong Kong.
I will be traveling with BA. Flight from HK to Sydney is operated by Cathay Pacific. I believe my bags will be taken from me in Dublin and then transferred to another plane in Heathrow and HK.

My question is. Can I leave airport in HK???

Normally you cannot leave. Hong Kong airport is huge though. You won't get bored.

I am a Polish citizen but formality is exactly the same.

I checked the times and train plus bus trip to the peak is about an hour tops one way.

We will see. If they let us out we will conquer The Peak :)

They used to organise quick tours from the airport for layover passengers. That was a good few years ago. Not sure if they still do them.

They still do. Although the OP shouldn't need an organised tour to just go to the Peak and back.
