    I agree
But they didn’t even attempt to nick a chance for the last 20 minutes
That’s the period of the game I’m referring to
Setting up defensive until that point was the way to go
    But then have a go
I was watching the second half in a foyer in Villa Park so your memory of the game is probably better than mine, but did Stoke not have a few chances to win it late on?

    Not that I remember
Maybe one from a set piece
I do remember a lot of time wasting !

Huddersfield will be playing for their lives and the games don't get too much easier from here on out. Odds massively against them getting anything from this game but they won't be on the beach or capitulate either.

So far, you are spot on sir.

    Kdb shot saved

    Sterling has been VERY quiet

    Big 10 minutes now
    Huddersfield gone deeper
    They need HT
If city get one before HT they will run out easy winners

Would still maintain they get nothing out of the game, and the big worry for someone who is against Jesus and Sterling TCers is who will be on the pitch when Huddersfield eventually tire and are running on fumes.

    Agree with this
Bernardo Silva could be on before the 60 mark if they don't have a goal got

Kyle Walker hasn't looked this dangerous in the time I've owned him.

Huddersfield playing with 8 centre backs

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,317 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

    Huddersfield are getting tired here.

Could be a matter of time.

    That's not true
They have had a right go but are tiring now and hanging on till HT

A better ball by Mooy there and Pritchard was in again

15 minute break will give them a bit of a second wind going into the 2nd half, but the way this game is going, if your players are on in the last 20-25 mins, you won't have better chances to gain FPL points.

Not 100% sure why they'd approach that way. A draw would be likely a season saver for them.

The teams that have troubled city this season are generally the ones that have had a go and pressed them high up the pitch Liverpool , Burnley and bristol city spring to mind. Most teams have sat back and got destrpyed anyway.

    Spot on
Mounie is already running on empty
I'd imagine pricthard isn't far behind

    Anyway it's HT now

    Well, this is surprising.

If Ederson gets a save point it's the highlight of my week so far!

Jesus and Sane look well out of touch, Sterling/KDB most likely

Have to hope Huddersfield run out of steam. City have been getting frustrated could even have had a few yellows ref has been quite lenient

    Otamendi and silva were lucky

Loads mistake from a corner almost gifts otamendi a goal
Sterling and sane have switched wings
So if Bernardo comes on looks likes it would be for sane

    Mendy on for Delph.

    One sub down.

Mendy on for Delph. So only 2 of the attacking players will be coming off max.

I'd say one will be KDB or Silva off for Toure too.

Bernardo Silva and Foden will be the two I predict, for Sterling and Ferna

Don't know whether I want Walker to be shipped off with his clean sheet or some of the attacking contingent to go before they start to do damage.
