It's only Chelsea and Liverpool that still have something to play, correct?

Man City going for 100 points if that counts for anything.

Southampton trying not to have their superior goal difference overturned.

Swansea trying to overturn Southampton's superior goal difference

So in short yeah mainly Chelsea-Liverpool.

Southampton will need to put in a shift against City.

In theory City (and maybe Liverpool) are the one team that could overturn their goal difference

Need to try something different to make gains in ML so getting Rashford and Martial in even though both ( and united in general ) have been dog**** lately. Hoping they will be pushing to be involved in the cup final and at least they will be both start.

    Red flagged for me
    Terrible signing he was too
If I'd have just waited a week I would have got fernandinho instead :(

Speroni is gonna play ahead of Hennessy isnt he? FFS

Was hoping to glean information from my rival by watching his transfers but he's made 3 so I'm pretty much in the dark.

So now is the question whether to follow him or let him have that extra 8 point hole in trying to catch me.

Highly likely given he is moving on and is there a long time

Hennessy will just go on being a legend for me
Sold him for a hit which paid off and if I hadn't I'd be without a keeper this weekend probably

Right. Time to have some fun. -12 and bench boosting.

Barnes, Silva, Simpson and DDG out, Jayew, Mané, Robertson and Fabianski in. Leaving me with:

    Fabianski Hennessey
    Robertson Masuaku Bauer Mawson Lowton
    Salah Mané Son Arnie Sterling
    Jesus Kane Ayew

Well De Gea out has me with Ryan in goals - will hope for some save points as don't fancy a -4 to get Romero in tbh!

    I'd edge towards Salah.

It's an important match for Liverpool, I expect a full strength team and Klopp sending them out there with the goal of winning the game so things don't get squeaky.

Spurs are in the CL already. Kane may want a last shot at the Golden Boot.

But overall I think a home rout is more likely in the Pool game

Smalling not mentioned by Mourinho as one to be rested....is he safe do we think?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,831 ✭✭✭shineon23

Waiting until the last minute to make any changes.

Will be keeping an eye on how many transfers my main rival makes, and changes in his team value to try guess his moves.
Blocking his points potential over me where possible.

As always at this stage of the season, Maths will be my mistress.

People said I was mad keeping Excel files on 6 of my rivals, and they'd be right.

But all their jibes have been noted on said Excel spreadsheets.

Scroll down and JM interview is there.
He gives a strong hint of changes this weekend and it does not look good for DDG, Smalling and a few others.

A mate mentioned JM named 6/7 that will start this weekend (Mata Martial and Rashford he named) but I can't find that interview.

Sterling is more likely to play than jesus.....
You reckon? Jesus is their only fit striker, he's started 5+ games in a row. The only reason he'd be given a break is that he's played 2 games in the last week.

The following are definite starters according to whatbhe said: Romero, Bailly, Blind, Carrick, Mata, Martial and Rashford

I have Tarkowski, Robertson, Milivojevic, Salah, Kane and Vardy who I'm confident will play. Also Yedlin and Cork, but they are bench fodder.
Lingard and Smalling are unlikely given Jose's comments. Unsure about my City players (Ederson, Sterling, Jesus).

Out of these 4 Lindelöf, Shaw, Klaven, Alexander-Arnold.. who is most likely to get a full 90 minutes and start... one last throw of the dice!

    TAA most likely I'd say.

    Ryan => Romero.

That gives me DeGea and Romero as my goalkeepers. One of them will play!
