looks like a Square D board
    breakers can be hot swiped
    used in Comms Rooms
could add on breakers for new circuits without de-energising the supply

probably should have said "hot swapped"
breakers can be replaced without isolating the distribution board
used where downtime of power was not desired
    Comms Rooms for example

    It's a square D board alright.

    Rising main, American style.

In the picture it looks like single phase supplies so possibly sockets, lighting etc. They have a single mod RCBO too there is less wiring associated with them.

    A very good quality product.
Can be expensive and can have long delivery times.

Possibly an old Voltage-Operated Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker (although it must only be used as an isolator as the Earthing conductor or cpc is not passing through it). Either that or a Current-Operated Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker (now known as an RCD). As for the layout of the DB it's just several single phase circuits.

What do you not understand about it? RYB equates to L1, L2, L3. Either single phase loads can be connected to these or with a triple pole device three phase loads. All three phase DBs in the north are of this layout.

the visual layout just threw me on the 415volts board. Didn't recognize the Phase abbreviations RYB.

    Thanks

    Red, Yellow and Blue pre-harmonisation.
