    Hi people!

O Tuesday i start to work at DHL warehouse near Dublin airport and i plan to go there by bicycle, since going on bus will take much longer because there is no direct route from my apartment (first i'll need to go to city centre which takes about 45min, and from there to warehouse another 50min).

Google maps wants me to drive on route bellow, and a part of this route goes thru R132 road.
Can i drive bicycle on Route 132? Looks scary to me because of the two lanes.

    Route: google.ie/maps/dir/53.4077177,-6.1569366/K67+PT35,+Stockhole,+Co.+Dublin/@53.43104,-6.2295906,172a,35y,184.84h,45t/data=!3m1!1e3!4m19!4m18!1m10!3m4!1m2!1d-6.2209097!2d53.4322088!3s0x4867104e4d8c5327:0xac9749b850534013!3m4!1m2!1d-6.2255348!2d53.4237297!3s0x4867104a7a64953f:0x2e4cce2cc72e7138!1m5!1m1!1s0x4867104998ab2d9f:0xd6a7314e47243f8f!2m2!1d-6.2216146!2d53.4257542!3e1

Please help me to solve this problem.
    Thanks in advance!.

Yes I used to cycle it a good bit to get to the running track at ALSAA there is a bike lane along some of it. You have to be careful though when the lane splits so some cars go left to get to the M1/M50 and the other section goes straight to the round about.

I believe there was another thread on here about that exact section of you do a search

Yes it's simple enough - I do it regularly.

If you're not confident it's better to utilise the hard shoulder/hatched markings for as long as possible and then cross the slip road at it's narrowest point as if you were a pedestrian.

Otherwise make regular check behind and gradually move over to the bus lane.

Take care on a dark wet morning/night when you may not be as visible to motorists. I find that most motorists anticipate my intention and usually gesture for me to cross.

By the way, the OP is referring to the road outside the Coachman's Pub near Dublin Airport (heading south where a slip road branches off for the M1.

It's pretty much the only option around there unless you double your trip by heading to Santry and travelling north from there.

If you're finding it difficult, there's a pedestrian crossing just by the Coachman's Inn and a footpath/cyclepath on the airport side of the road. This crosses the airport entrance at the roundabout and there's cycle path all the way down the side of the airport. It does mean you have to await the pleasure of the commuting traffic a couple of times though.
