Does Longford Town have limescale in its water?

I live in Longford Town. Whenever I wash a dish, rinse it in water from the cold tap, and wait till it's dry, I find that it has numerous little light-coloured smudges on its surface. This is particularly noticeable with Pyrex bowls.

I'd post a photo, but this is a new account, so I'm not allowed.

Does anyone else in Longford Town get this? If so, do you know the cause? Limescale?

Yep, the bedrock here is limestone. Its even worse for those with a well. You can buy water softeners, but they're big and not something you'd get for a rented place
