Are Irish Rail still trying to close the Wexford rail link?

    Judging from the latest semi-official "Visit Wexford" guide you could be forgiven for thinking that there's no rail service to Wexford. The glossy guide has two full page Ads for Bus Eireann and Wexford Bus - the latter on the back cover and nothing for Irish Rail! The only mention of Irish Rail is in a small, strangely word piece - see below.

    The local authorities and tourism interests will only have themselves to blame if/when the railway closes south of Gorey. This at the same time when the Belmond Grand Hibernian has just started traversing the route.

    Just looked up the belmond.... Looks great but 10times dearer than flying to Australia :)
