When it comes to Kane, there is honestly no way to know. There are question marks over the financial viability of Spurs new stadium, there are question marks over whether Pochettino will stay, there are question marks about Kane's own ambition and whether Spurs can match it and so on and so on.

Player says X. Most of the time when players say X they mean it but sometimes they are only saying X to keep the fans or the club happy when they really want Y. Or sometimes the player wants X, but the agent, who wields considerable control over these matters wants Y. Agent pushes for Y, player relucantly agrees. Or sometimes the player wants X, but the club actually want Y, and so the player reluctantly agrees to Y. And so on and so on...

I watched the Lyon game tonight and Fekir was subbed late on seeming a bit emotional, but he had also taken a knock just beforehand so it was hard to make out what he was really thinking.

Here's his comments after the game:

"I think I have given everything to Lyon. With regards to the future, we'll see.

"A goodbye? Frankly, I don't know. I've had a great season here with my teammates, the crowd and the excellent staff. We ended up in beauty"

Sounds to me like he's leaving.

There still weak enough from the bench ,there were lucky with no injuries this season albit there run in the CL ,I would think 3 more players to fill the gap .There first team is very good and they made good signings so far.but I don't think they will be in the title mix.

Saying that I was way off the mark of them in the CL so what do I know.

He has been a star player in France for 3 of the last 4 seasons and the season he wasn't he was out injured for the season with a cruciate

His partnership with Lacazette was top class.

Lascelles will be our best signing this transfer window if it happens.

No injuries? You must be mistaken.

Clyne, Matip, Couthino, Can, Lalana, Sturridge and Ox all missed large parts of the season.

Henderson, Gomez and Moreno all missed a good bit of time as well.

Couthino and Can had the same injury basically wanted out .Can Sturridge be even considered a pool player.Ox went out the end of the CL. Doesn't Hendo play though a heel injury every game.

I never said there wasn't injuries but the squad is light to be in the mix for the title and need at least 3 more squad players .

Can got the German medical team to agree with the he want out injury and gave going to the World Cup just to make the injury look more really and not play for a team he is leaving on a free anyway.

You said Liverpool were lucky with no injuries this season, that's hardly saying there wasn't injuries? They were far from lucky, so that point doesn't stand.

I'll agree with you that they need more players though.

Can faking an injury? So he's given up his place in the world cup because he wants out of Liverpool? Nonsense. The German team doctor was the one who sent him home from the last camp because he was injured.

Sturridge would still have been handy to have to rest some of our front three before he went on loan. But he was injured. Came back from injury at West Brom and missed another pile of games.

Ox missed a few games earlier in the season as well. Yes Henderson has an ongoing issue with his heal but it still forces him to miss a few games, if I'm remembering correctly he also picked up a thigh injury before/around Christmas this season. Lalana was one of our best players last season, missed virtually the whole season

Clyne was our first choice RB, he missed the whole season. Moreno was our first choice LB and got injured before Christmas to let Robertson into the team (thank god). Matip was first choice CB before VVD came in, also missed a large part of the season.

We've had a lot in injuries this season.

Don't think Iniesta has the legs to play in Spain now much less in England. Like Buffon I'd like him to go somewhere that I wouldn't watch him play. He's clearly declining like Xavi did but people have a lot of respect for him so won't say it as fact.
