Got VAT receipt yesterday morning, device arrived 10 mins ago.

Was checking UPS tracking which could not find the tracking number given by Lenovo, when the doorbell rang !

My payment through paypal was to digital river Ireland.

There were four system updates for my one, the last of which was large and seemed to stall for quite some time about a quarter of the way through which caused a moment of panic but it then suddenly shot across. After the final update there is a link for Amazon Alexa on the menu bar which is nice, and had some fun messing with that (have an Echo and Echo Dot here).

/edit, now there is another update, reminds me of buying a new windows machine, shame these cannot be cumulative.

I received my tablet today, and registered it on Lenovo's website. When I checked the details it told me I had 97 days of warranty left. I was able to correct it by sending them a pdf of my invoice from Digital River. Within 5 minutes I had an email back saying my warranty info would be corrected within 24 hours.

There should be a 1 year warranty as far as I know.

I had the same with my laptop. Standard practice with Lenovo AFAIK.

Updates finally stopped after update 8 or 9 or 10 i forget!
The flashing blue light was annoying me , disable google hangouts to fix in settings, that app wont work anyhow.

Anyone noticed how long it takes to charge? I got mine an hour ago with 42% battery and plugged it into a multi port USB charger but it's saying it'll take 8 hours to full charge from the current 32% to 100%. I guess this could be a reflection of my charger rather than the device as I'm not using the Lenovo supplied USB C charger.

I noticed also that the battery setting states it's 159 days since the last full charge which presumably was close to or the actual date of manufacture. Not surprised they wanted to shift them in a flash sale, you can't be holding stock, particularly tech type stock that long!!

Arrived today. 0% charge in battery but only took about 2hrs to fully charge. Think about 7 updates. Nice screen, above average sound and nippy enough for what I use (no gaming). Happy for the price paid.
