I have to return my SRMs for a battery change, I cannot find the box that they came in.

Can anyone suggest where I might get a box that could be used to ship a set of Shimano DA cranks? One thats not too big, and not too small.

A shoebox and plenty of newspaper or bubble wrap?

Shoe box won't fit the axle is fixed to the drive side

Buy a post box and bubble wrap. Post offices or stationery shops sell them. Or don’t bother with a box and reuse cardboard and wrap them flat with a piece of heavy cardboard between the pieces and around the axle.

i think of the entire cycling forum as a 'box for cranks'.

You could remove the chainrings and it'll all fit in a smaller box.

    LOL

And powertap p1s but they are much easier to find a box for (and change batteries)

Go shopping in LIDL, plenty of boxes there, get two boxes of same size and fit one into the other, bring a measuring tape.

I have a box off a crankset you're welcome to have. It should do the trick, working in Dublin 2, but fairly limited chance to meet up this week. Drop me a pm if you're interested.

You might still want to throw some bubble wrap around it.
