So, we are collectively being penalised to the tune of €3 p/m because some scummy people are putting dirty nappies and food waste into the green bin! Rather than tackling the individuals involved we all have to pay :mad: Makes me want to care less about what I put in re-cycling bin tbh.

You may be aware that the worldwide recycling industry has been greatly impacted by China's decision to stop accepting and processing the material you place in your recycling bin. The main reason for this is due to poor quality of material, people putting not just the wrong things in the recycling bin but also things like nappies and food that contaminate all other material in the bin and collection vehicles.

Rather than tackling the individuals involved we all have to pay :mad:

Makes me want to care less about what I put in re-cycling bin tbh.
