We were due to snag our new build in ten days. Unfortunately the builder has advised that as they haven't been able to get a connection date from ESB this is being delayed. He has said that he can't tell us the extent of the delay until esb inspect the site next week. Has anyone any experience of this and how long it would typically take ESB to connect? There are ten houses to connect. We're panicking a bit as have given our landlord notice and will be stuck paying to live in a hotel from next month!

Did the builder say it's ready for connection? ESB can get delayed depending on various factors. Do you have a job number you can use to follow it up yourself?

Thanks for response. Yes builder says it's ready for connection but two weeks on they're still waiting on a connection date from ESB. Trying to get the mrpn number from the builder so we can chase it up ourselves. Also trying to get the builder to agree to is doing a preliminary snag in advance of connection to get things moving. It's very frustrating.
