    Hi guys,

    Possibly a stupid question...

I will be traveling to the UK soon to pick up a cab. It is 900 GBP. Will I have to pay tax bringing it into Ireland?

    Cheers.

For your own use or for a business?
    New or second hand?

If it is just for yourself then the price charged by the seller should be all that you have to pay.

Nice one! That's pretty pricey though, is it in good condition? Any idea if the monitor has been recapped etc?

I agree its pricey but none have come up in over a year of looking. One "Big Red" came up on Jamma+ but was snapped up in seconds (literally) so I'm willing to pay the premium.

Ah I guess if you're sick of waiting fair enough! One sold on J+ last year for just £375. I think they're valued usually in around €500-600.

Gorgeous cab though. Was what I first wanted many moons ago when I started getting into cabs. Could never find one in the end!

You going to keep her original and stick 6 MVS carts in?

No tax Europe to Europe. Cab looks great. Go for it.

Similar to you, I've been looking out for a Electrocoin Duet for over a year now and have a chance to get one from London.

Are there no delivery companies that could handle something like this or do you have to DIY?

The price of the ferry is far more than i was expecting. Im looking into a delivery company solution aswell. Going over on the boat was part of the joy of it though

    Should be between 200/250e.

Biggest problem is convincing the seller to put it on a pallet.
Then they have to be home when its being collected.
Fine if the seller has a garage and the driver can get a pallet truck in!!!!

Ferry is always more expensive in the summer

So you think if the seller puts it on a pallet and just wraps it with pallet wrap then get the usual DPD or DHL etc will deliver?
Has anyone here done this before - perhaps a specialist delivery company that can handle everything?
