can't be counting chickens! weather is looking like it's about to get ugly so will have to be very careful, especially with 2 tight turns in the last km or so.

    from the OP...
The finish is flat but very tricky, with two dangerous looking turns in the last km, so in case of a full peloton sprinting that would be the most serious issue.

marco frapporti has a load of KOMs still standing from his Giro visit to these shores, including the 'city quay sprint' in Dublin. I'm not trying to beat it I swear... it's 22 seconds.. just saying..

nope, that gap isn't closing at all really. Bora don't even seem to be chasing hard tbh.

only 35 seconds in it, he or his team must've been in bits that they never chased hard.

missed chance for Bora, Sam made that look easy

How many did they have in the bunch at the end?

Agreed but I wish the commentator would stop his stupid pronunciation, it's actually hard to understand as well as frustrating!

Not a lot of points, as it was a category C stage so he gets 12 points for 3rd place.

BORA really mucked up there. A win for Sam would have brought him to within 30points for the jersey

Not all stages have equal points

Today and tomorrows stages are only worth 25 points to the winner

apparently suffering from hay fever or similar.

That's very unfair on him - he should be allowed do something to level the playing field.

It is just me that always thinks of this when they mention the Cyclamen jersey?

Laurens ten dam's Strava is showing 4200 meters of elevation for today, that's crazy for a supposedly flattish stage
