Claiming Home Renovation Incentive (HRI) Retrospectively - Possible?

    Hi,

We purchased a new home last Autumn and shortly afterwards had some work done which it seems like would have qualified for home renovation inventive. We had some other work done earlier this year which would, I believe, also qualify. However since we had previously rented, we were not fully aware of all schemes etc. that were available; the contractors were all VAT registered and HRI registered but they did not enter their details in any Revenue / HRI website at the time of the work.

Is there any way to claim the VAT back through HRI in arrears in above scenario?

    Thanks,
    John.

They can enter the details retrospectively.

Just send them on the house number from the LPT site
