Do you have the new LG 49" SK8500 TV in stock yet?

I'm also looking for a slim AV reciever to go with it - the Marantz NR1508 or similiar.

    Thanks

    Hi Alu.

    Thanks for the post.

Some of the new LG range has hit our warehouse but at the moment the 49SK8500 is not one that is listed.

We do have the 49SK8100 which is priced at £1199.00

The Marantz NR1508 is a great product and very popular because of its slim build.
    Currently priced at £299.00

There really are not too many other slim units around.

Denon have their Heos AVR priced at £499.00

Onkyo did have the TXL50 but it seems it may be finished.

    Thanks for that Kenny,

Have you tested the new LGs yet? They look good from what I've read but I haven't seen one yet.

What's the best price you could do for the LG TV + NR1508?

    Thanks

    Hi Alu.

Unfortunately we haven't had any in just yet. They are only starting to hit our main warehouse. I am looking froward to seeing the. I purchased a LG set at Christmas myself.

I currently don't have our cost on the SK range as they are not on our system just yet. I'll see if I can obtain this from our purchasing guys.
There is currently a £100 cash back offer the the 8100 via redemption with LG.

The current best price on the NR1508 would be the £299.00

    Alu,

I saw some of the SK series in action at an LG presentation on Monday and I have to say I was very impressed and my only slight issue with them was the current price of the B7 OLED series which we can do Boardie Deals on ;) - however if you can only fit a 49" max - at the moment the SK's do rate serious consideration.

As as side-note there appears to be an industry wide move to 'dumb-down' sets under 55" - this season there are very few truly top-spec sub 50" sets available with the exception of the SK series from LG and the XF9 series from Sony ( I have to say the KD49XF9005 is a real stunner tho!

Thanks for your replies and info, much appreciated.

I hadn't considered the LG B7 OLED but looks good - might go for it if it'll fit the room!

What's the Boardsie deal price for the 55" version?
