    Paul Weller playing TCD also

Think there were 6 gigs there this year and last so guess there's probably be a few in between those gigs too.

No interest personally but never heard of gigs in St Anne's before. I wonder is there gonna be more this summer.

If St Anne's kicks off, it will be the death knell for Malahide as a venue.

I'd love if they brought back Ardgillan Castles as a venue.

Tricky to get in and out of but....that setting was just bloody amazing!!

Hoping for Wilco, The National and Neil Young...but just not before Christmas, lads? Please... :)

Janelle Monae also possible. Wellers HQ deleted a tweet saying she was playing too.

In summer 2019, Paul comes to Dublin for Trinity Summer Series alongside @JanelleMonae and @neworder. The unmissable series will take over Trinity College for the first week of July. Get your tickets here from Friday at 9:30am https://t.co/xLH3wQxlTT pic.twitter.com/HYf1DGmECp

Yeah it is shaping up to be a busy summer. The Cure, Fleetwood Mac and New Order all in the space of a month. Hopefully the National are playing at ATN or EP!

    Why so?

Because there is a limit to the amount of venues required and Malahide is the weakest from an access perspective.

St. Annes is much easier to access and will be more attractive to punters.

St Annes is a 5 minute walk to the dart. Getting out could be a pain but it can't be any worse than getting out of the carpark in Malahide.

Ah guess here's when promoters make their money with people buying for friends or families (or themselves) so makes sense!

Just seen this on Facebook looks like no bruce Springsteen this year

Just a note to quell some of the rumors over here on E Street. While we hope to be back with you soon, the E Street Band won’t be touring in 2019. Before I go back to my day job, the year will be consumed with a break after our Broadway run and various recording projects I’ve been working on. We do hope to see you soon, and until then, we have some mighty E Streeters out there regularly performing with their own projects who’d love and deserve your support. All love and Happy Holidays!

    - Bruce Springsteen

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,062 ✭✭✭julyjane

that makes sense. Springsteen on Broadway was on for a long time why would he go straight into a tour? It's not like he needs the money! 2020 hopefully

    same as last year.

I quite like Chance the Rapper. But I wouldn't buy a ticket for Longitude. Seems a bit too messy of a fest for my liking.

Another Love Story selling tickets for festival in August with no line up yet. I really don't see any advantage to fans of this selling tickets without a line up. Hoping it doesn't become a trend..
