How long to hear back from an interview?

    Hi all,

    Had my first teaching job interview last Friday. There was a lot of RPT contracts on offer and I'm wondering how long it would take to hear back from an interview? Not really expecting to have gotten it at this stage, but it'd just be nice to hear whether I got it or not!

    Unfortunately sometimes you never even hear back!

    I have heard of principals who let you know the next day, some take a few weeks and others just dont bother.

    95% don't bother replying after interviews. Either you hear you got or you don't. You get used to it after a while.

    Was it an ETB school? They are usually more mannerly.

    I did an interview today and was told I'd hear next week sometime.
