This year I was doing a job share with maternity hours added on in a core subject. Another job share may be arising in my school again with posibilty of my own hours. If I get a contract as such could I be CID the year after? Can't understand why it's so complicated to receive CID.

It's not complicated to be honest, it's simply that your hours cannot have objective grounds i.e. Maternity leave cover. If u have hours in your own right, then it counts towards a CID
