Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Any chance of that taxi for rashford arriving yet?

Chelsea look so lost out there now. At least it’s United having to come from behind though, they can play some good stuff when they want to but I wouldn’t count on Chelsea doing the same if the roles were reversed.

Chelsea are in their best run of form all season

    Ffs, that wasn't an attempt.

Matic just watched kante breeze past him and then jogged after him, ****ing hell like

Wasted. Kante should have taken it. Alonso never expected it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,948 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

    That's probably a penalty

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,948 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

Jaysus. United got away wit that

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,495 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

He had to hit that first time, slide it into the corner to De Gea’s right.

And a blatant penalty not given straight after. Poor refereeing, not even going to VAR.

    Penalty

Chelsea are in their best run of form all season

I think drawing at home to Huddersfield and losing 3 nothing against a Newcastle team with nothing to play for when chasing a CL spot (albeit against big odds) slightly stifled this "best run of form"

They aren't even playing well today

    Chelsea gonna blow this game

Surely with the ball out of play, that was a perfect time for VAR.

    He did go to VAR

How does Young get away with it? He should have conceded two penalties in the league game at our place, and been red carded. And that was a penalty just now.

He did got to VAR ffs. It's like people create their own version of events

What's the point of VAR if it's not going to be used for big decisions that could determine the outcome of the game. Should of been a penalty there.

I don’t think they did, BT commentator mentioned that the assistant deemed it unnecessary. Don’t quote me on that though, open to correction.

Well it's 4 in 5 so it's their best run.

Ashley Young has been somehow immune to penalty decisions this season.

What is the circumstances for it to be used ? Was it not ball-to-hand anyway ?

I've already stated why your initial post was wrong. It seems reading is another weakness...
He's not wrong though, the quality might be ****e but at least there is a bit of life in the 2nd half. It's like the players throw off Jose's shackles when they have nothing to lose and just have a go. It's still shapeless and ugly but at least the energy levels go up.

Now go on and have a pop at me.

    Morata and Willian immediately please.

Well it's 4 in 5 so it's their best run.

They drew at home against Huddersfield also

  • Never a penalty

    Embarrassing lads

He was holding back on the corner talking away. Same for the offside call on Sanchez. He can run over to his assistant, no need for earpiece talks in those situations

I will have a go. Chelsea have parked the bus from minute one and strangled the life out of the game. Yet people are talking about Jose being the issue. Your assessment is dishonest because it ignores Chelsea role in this game.

For all United's possession, Chelsea have had the better chances in the second half.

I know you are Utd so not sure if that is sarcasm. But it wasn't a peno. Ball to hand. Young didn't know anything about it.

    Yep.

That ball was crying out for a cross and Young just turns back inside and passes it

Conte incapable of making a change.

Chelsea always getting something in the way of the ball, credit to them for that.

Shambolic defending there, one Chelsea player looking at the other waiting for him to clear it. They’ll blow it yet.

Tellies are bigger these days so no need to zoom in so much

Ahh Pogba. Will we get a better chance?

    Scrap the cap!

I prefer it to Sky. You can see the team shape much better and see the opportunities yourself

You cannot miss that chance Pogba

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,148 ✭✭✭testtech05

I thought Young definitely motioned his hand towards the ball. He was close to the ball but the motion was what made me think peno. Just my opinion and for what it's worth I'm unbiased towards both teams.

Dreadful header by Pogba. It wasn't even difficult.
