Ffs. Only multiplayer I really play is Ground War and you have to have cross-play enabled for it

I never play ground war because you have to enable crossplay. Had to jump in yesterday for an operator challenge and was able to turn cross play off. They must have changed something (PS)

If you are on PS4 you don't have to have crossplay enabled. Also they need to just enable crossplay for cobsoles that would be acceptable. PC can play with themselves always thought it was a stupid idea they being allowed to play even outside of the aimbot cheating Mouse and keyboard give them a huge advantage over console players in

GroundWar made crossplay mandatory on PS but they changed it. It was always optional everywhere else, including Warzone

Plenty of console players can hold their own against pc. Keyboard and mouse is quicker and pretty accurate but consoles have aim assist which certainly levels things out a bit. I've played a few rounds on console and noticed the aim assist, without it the game would be unplayable.

Agreed. I've been playing the game for the last month or so, on PS4, and my K/D has been the best it's ever been on any COD game I've played over the last 12 years or so (3000/2700 or thereabouts)...

I've played against plenty of m/kb users and I only notice because it tells me they're using it. Once I'm in the actual game, it doesn't make much difference to me. I've never once said "he's using a mouse, that's how he got me". At the end of the day we're all playing the same game and playing with a mouse doesn't make you better than controller-users, it just means you're better when you play with the mouse. That's all there is to it. Why would you play with a peripheral you aren't comfortable using?

Too many Aimbot hackers on PC for my liking so I won't be playing with them. Should be a crossplay option for Consoles, I've no issue if console players like yourself want to play with PC players but a lot in the community don't want to play with them. I mean 40K banned for cheating nearly all on PC. It's not a good look!

I don't "want" to play with them. It just doesn't bother me.

I remember back in MW2 days the amount of rapid fire drop shotters on console was ridiculous. Lots of people bought Epic Controllers with the Mastermod.

I play on PC and honestly I haven't seen any hackers yet. Got accused of being one myself when I shot someone through a wall once but that was luck and after they saw some of my kills later they realized I wasn't hacking with the amount of shots I was missing :pac:

Played a good bit of solos yesterday. If you don't get your loadout early you're in trouble. Just about every buy station has some eejit attached to it.

I stopped playing COD after MW2 (the first time around). The later ones didnt interest me, and then life got in the way. But with COVID I've a little more time for games and thinking about getting bank in.
So is the any good?

I would be the same, after Black Ops 2 socialising and work took over. Modern Warfare is a brilliant game so much to do and no boost jumping over futuristic rubbish that was in fashion for years. Download Warzone for Free and see how you like it, big download but will give you a feel for it.

Now with Warzone being so good I probably wouldn't even bother buying the game itself for Multiplayer. It's kept me so busy I haven't got round to the campaign and I've had it since Christmas.

Back playing this on PC, hated it on release but the newer maps since then are a lot better.
Obviously the odd classic from COD 4 helps.
I havent noticed many if any hackers on PC in the week or so im back playing, maybe they are all banned

That's true, why cheat to win in Team Deathmatch when you can cheat 100's of players on Warzone. First time I've turned off the console in disgust, I'm on PS4

I've no interest in Warzone or Ground War, but it seems that these are the only 2 areas they are really concentrating on and MP is being left behind, even though that's the paid version. I understand it from a money point of view, free Warzone is making people spend money on CoD points so they want to keep that more interesting as they won't make much from from MP.

But, it has made me wary of future releases. If there's going to be a Warzone type for each release now, I'd be tempted to not buy it as it might be ignored. Maybe they'll rescue MP at some stage, but for now I'm feeling very left out as the new maps aren't even new. Sake like, they even made that Aniyah Palace map smaller (and more prone to spawn killing) and called it a new map... Meanwhile there's nearly always a new 2v2 map. It's like they don't want people playing the classic TDM or Dom modes anymore.

I know there are plenty more modes to play in MP, but they're all meh. TDM and Dom are the core gamemodes and to me they fell ignored.

I'm suspected cheats. A game I played last night, I was headshotted but didn't believe it. Watched the replay and he headshotted 3 people in a row with a Karsk without aiming at the head.

Yes I've seen this a few times, all they do is point close to you and boom you're instantly dead without even knowing what the hell happened.
