Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    ITEM: Sony BVM 1454D Monitor
POST\COLLECTION: Collection from Dublin city centre
    PRICE: 100
    PAYMENT METHODS: Cash

Going to leave this for sale here for a couple of days before lashing it up on adverts.

Perfect working condition. 900 TVL so super sharp image and scanlines. Produced between 2002-2006 I believe.

Comes with an RGB scart to BNC cable so you're good to hook up your consoles straight away.

Being replaced with a 20 inch BVM 2016P, so not to worry :D

I'm almost half tempted to keep it and store it in the attic given it's a CRT from towards the end of CRT production, so the components should be good for a while yet.

do these guys have speakers ? been trying to find an upgrade to my Philips vs0080 monitor and turns out it's hard to find a sharp monitor with audio output too :)

Funnily enough this was an upgrade to my Commodore 1084, which is pretty much the same as your Philips vs0080. :D

Like most PVMs/BVMs, it has a speaker but it's mono only. Sound is fine but ideally with these monitors you want to have a small pair of computer speakers to compliment them for true stereo.

It will come with a scart to BNC cable to connect up your consoles. the cable has two RCA cables for audio. So you can either plug them into the back of the BVM for mono sound (I did this for a while actually and it worked grand) or else run them to external speakers.

Excellent, just want to see if BGOllie is taking it as per the above.

If not then it's yours :)

I'm happy to give you first refusal as you had already expressed an interest in it on thread, if anything I was being cheeky by jumping in, apologies.

Our good mod included a piece in the charter to sort out this situation, as it's happened a couple of times before :)
First person in with an OFFER is first in line.
