I never knew that about his backstory.
Then again I liked Toto back in the day and they were all session men.

And feck it I like his taste in clothes, baseball caps, cars, countries and some of the music aint too bad either.

The music business were in on it for the most part. He didn't get his break from nowhere. Would the fans have been into it if they knew he was a disco guitarist in the 70's? Probably not.

I post a picture of myself doing a duck face or wearing pyjamas daily on snap chat. If that's not cool then clearly you don't know cool. One time I did a duck face, leaned on a friend, asked for a smoke and wore pyjamas and a night gown while posing in a Angelina jolie style lip pouting. Had an orange tan that day too.

Michael Franti is one of the coolest people on the planet. Had an amazing time with him and his wife at their hotel and yoga retreat in Bali a few weeks ago.

Not only is he an amazing musician but his charity work and all round humanitarian way of life is truly awe inspiring.
