Froome in virtual pink here shortly... unreal.

That power/speed graphic was interesting. Constantly changing power/speed/cadence numbers for Dumoulin and others, yet Froome's power figure was stuck on 350w while only his speed and cadence figures were changing.

I've turned it off. Exactly as you say. Nothing real about it.

This makes Landis' stage 17 look like a desperate Tommy Voeckler attempt. Disgusting, no other word for it.

Oh my little girl has a proper rage on here, even trying to convince me to phone mam so she can be told the bold man has the jersey

To be fair here, Dumoulin has lost a lot of time on the descents and waiting up for Riechenback twice.

If he's saved some energy following, he needs to go full gas on his own up the final climb, obviously, and hope Froome suffers after a long solo effort.

My 5 year old Daughter told me last night that she wanted Lidl to win and that they are her favorite team

I'm a Chris Froome cynic, I want Dumoulin to win it again this year.

Listen, as Carlton Kirby slowly switches allegiances from Yates to Froome!

Guys/Gals - thought you would know he'd try and fly under the radar given all this GDPR and Referendum stuff happening today. Good news Friday is what they're calling it......

At the moment this is like pouring milk onto your porridge or breakfast cereals and then when you taste it, you find the milk is really sour and it has ruined everything.
Hopefully this changes before the end.

His style is so bad on the bike but doesnt hold him back. Some turn around

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,010 ✭✭✭velo.2010

Froome will have a minute virtual lead onto the climb which means Dumoulin will need to take back 2 minutes on Froome to give him some buffer for tomorrow. I don't think he can do that.

TBF to Froome and i aint a fan....it was some ballsy move to go when he did...maybe some others should take inspiration and race aggressively....instead of planning on winning a 3 week tour on a time trial!!

i doubt Lance would have thought 80km to go on this stage was a good time for a solo break
