IPhone 5S screen repair

Hi, I'm using a 5S as a backup phone and smashed the screen on it. Called one repair shop €35-€50 depending on replacement screen and takes 1 hour. Is this a bit steep for such an old phone and for a process on youtube takes less than 10mins? Anybody any other suggestions/recommendations for the repairs? Thank you

depends where you based too i think. some places will be cheaper than others. some take up to an hour to make sure the phone works and there no issues.
