Don't his supporters care about what they're actually seeing. TR using his Thurs national news story this week, with news media publishing the video he made of the incident, and still think he's being shut down by d'meeja.

Hammering on a bloke's door at 5am to intimidate him to drop a legal case against him and still his supporters will claim he's unfairly treated. I suppose it's got nothing to do with the reality for his people

Why do I ask? Because I want to know how far you're willing to toe the party line to pretend he's just honestly highlighting pedos because he cares about the children.

I I haven't said he's racist. I think it's immaterial if he is racist. He's selling the narrative that the poor white man is being discriminated against because his supporters want to hear it.

His not being racist is as irrelevant as caring about children. It's selling a message to his people and it's extremely successful. Look at the things he does and his supporters are willing to overlook the naughty behaviour because of his community work honestly exposing pedos.

He's selling a message that people want to hear. The story has even grown to the point that he's the one who broke the story like he's an investigative journalist or something. It's fantasy stuff.

Oftentimes it seems like criticism of SYL tends to come down to accusations of not caring about Asian grooming gangs. As if SYL is the one investigating these gangs and bringing them to justice (rather than just grabbing his pitchfork any time these gangs are identified by others).

I read a study that said the number of priests who abuse is about the same as the general population. There's nothing about being a priest that makes you more likely to abuse. There's nothing about being a catholic that makes you more likely to abuse.
That doesn't mean there wasn't a problem with the church as an organisation. It needed reform and it certainly shouldn't be in charge of education.

There is a problem with muslim grooming gangs. However the numbers of muslims who are jailed for abuse is roughly in line with the rest of the population. Additionally there's zero evidence to suggest that muslims either approve of or ignore this behaviour. Just as there was no evidence to suggest that catholics approved of ignored priests who abused.

So when someone comes along as starts saying that muslims are more likely to abuse. they are wrong. When they say people are at greater risk from muslims, they are wrong.

It is worth studying how these gangs formed and seeing if there's anything special about them. Abusers do tend to seek each other out, whether it's online or in real life.
