I think he is doing what he thinks is right.

    For himself.

The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the LORD your God.

What do you think of him and fans ganging up on one man including turning up at his door in the middle of the night? There seems to be a weird level of blindness in terms of the dodgy things that Stephen engages in.

Fair retaliation for a completely different bloke handing a letter to a policeman at the end of Tommy's driveway terrifying and intimidating Tommy's wife and kids, surely.

The "intimidation" of his family was legal papers being served to Robinson for defaming a Syrian teen. (which in itself was awful) So a bit of a misrepresentation, meanwhile Tommy and Co are behaving like thugs. Not "fair retaliation".. Respond with a legal threat, that's fair retaliation although he'd have no ground. Stuchberry probably does.

He's a bit of a geezer but I think he is doing what he thinks is right.

I'm going to godwin this a bit but Hitler thought he was doing the right thing. ISIS think they are doing the right thing. Thinking you are doing the right thing doesn't matter that much.

Also, he's milking his followers for money and spending it on coke in italy. So I don't think he even thinks he's doing the right thing.

No, the reason is for contempt of court when he filmed himself approaching someone who was on trial for grooming.

Despite what his defenders think, you can't do that. It's stupid and idiotic at the extreme because the defendant then can claim that he can't receive a fair trial. Not only that, identifying that man could potentially identify some of his victims.

It was a stupid move for his own gain, he didn't give a **** about any of the victims in this particular case because if he did he'd let the trial play out before being all self-righteous.

Why are some people blind to what an arsehole this bloke is?

He was cleared of contempt of court and the case was quashed on appeal. I did see a barrister comment with some valid points until he clearly showed a dislike for him. The Sikh who also reported outside the court was not arrested .

the original verdict was set aside because of procedural issues. He will be tried again. there will be no procedural issues this time and poor little tommy will find himself back inside.

you need to ask Tommy that. He was the one claiming that his family were terrified.

you need to ask Tommy that. He was the one claiming that his family were terrified.

He also claimed it wasn't delivered to his home at one stage. However how he can claim it wasn't his home and at the same time claim his family were intimidated.

Meanwhile Stephen/Tommy's supporters are intimidating people.

Yeah I agree, that's my point, I'm pointing out the the misrepresentation of the facts by TR, note the crossed out text haha.

Nothing, that's my point, I'm being sarcastic. Sorry if unclear.

I think it was more to do with their location being made public when everyone knew the man himself wasn't even in the country.

If his wrong think is what causes him to harass people at their homes and run the risk of getting pedophiles off via mistrail by committing contempt of court, then yes, I want him banged up for wrong think.

I saw the video, there were no signs with street or road names and the address wasn't mentioned. You don't even see the house. The only information about the location was that it was in Bedfordshire, which hardly narrows anything down at all.

Totally not racist Tommy hanging around with actual nazis.

I dunno. Maybe everybody's hanging out with nazis these days. I'm a bit old so I may have missed the memo telling me that hanging out with nazis is cool or something.

Made public by who though? Was it filmed and live streamed the way Lennon did?

Yeah, we know that now but at the time five men turned up at the house on a Sunday afternoon when they knew he wasn't even there. They were also recording and possibly live-streaming, so anyone would assume that the address might be public knowledge at that point.

Make no mistake this was clearly setup with the intention to intimidate his family and he responded exactly as was expected, given his previous antics.

No idea. the letter was given to a police officer who gave it to the family.

    Who called the police then?

My understanding was that the police were accompanying the guys dropping off the letter? That's what it said it in Mike's original tweet. I also wouldn't be surprised if the cops keep an eye on Tommy's place in general, if what TR says is to be believed about his family constantly being threatened. Of course, as it involves believing Tommy Robinson, that's an absolutely enormous 'if'.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,724 ✭✭✭✭Timberrrrrrrr

Was it a recording for their own protection knowing TR's links to nefarious characters?

Could have been live streamed and was live streamed are 2 different things.

Anynproof that his mrs/kids even seen the men who handed the letter to the police officer?

If you read through Mike's Tweets you'll see that: Mike knew TR was in Finland, the same letter had already been delivered by post, and he claims that TR had the cops waiting when they arrived.

    So what really did happen...?

Because he himself has put them in danger.

It also brings to light his lie that his family were intimidated hy the men delivering a letter.

One involved delivering a letter. The other involved banging on Mikes door at 5AM. In retribution for something that Mike had nothing to do with.

What people think the two incidents are:

ohnonotgmail: is referring to a letter being delivered to lennon/Robinson and the other incident is lennon/robinson turning up at a guys house.

Kenny Logins: the two times lennon/Robinson turns up a guys house.

This is how world wars start.

Yes. I was comparing the delivering of a letter during the day to banging on Mikes door at 5am. you cannot compare the two.

Ya you can't compare the two. There were kids who have received multiple death threats in one house with a father out of the country and no kids in the other house.

If the police weren't called first by TR's wife it would have been a very nasty experience. The junkie they chose to deliver the letter has previously tweeted about killing TR's family and masturbating while their house burns down. Also bringing along a dog for good measure and videoing the location of the house was done to cause further intimidation.

Not surprised by TR's actions after that and he felt this Mike character was sufficiently involved with what happened even if he wasn't there on the day.

Robinson shouldn't have reacted he knows the establishment/Left class are always looking for an excuse to get him behind bars.

A working class man that challenges the orthodoxy of the time, that has such a following in the working class will always be targeted.

That said, he probably reacted milder than most to a threat to burn his kids.
