Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He gets kicked around and stamped on and not a peep. He gives one back and this is the reaction. Clearly he is playing against a rigged deck here.

Haven't seen that at all tbh, well besides the stamp

Matter of time before Villa score now. And when they eventually do they’ll probably go on to win the game.

    Proper final this.

Here's hoping, Villa don't score easily though.

That whole sequence of play came after Johansen idiotically refused to play Targett in and shot himself instead.

Now Fulham are down to 10 and Johansen is injured.

I counted 7 fouls on him in the first half alone

For all Villa's pressing, Fulham look more dangerous.

Was it though? Looked a little like it might have been Hourihane who touched the ball.

    Haha Scott Hogan

Aside for when Hutton plays the ball. We’ve been shafted here.

Grealish had two and that one from Hogan.

Villa have missed some huge chances in this game.

    Grealish is Wilshere 2.0

Accept Wilshere applies his trade at a high level and Grealish is an average Championship player.

Fulham have been the best team in the Championship to watch by a country mile for each of the last two seasons, so it's nice to see them go up.

So will Fulham move to Wembley when their owner buys it.

Cracker of a game, hope Liverpool Real is half as good.

Gunna be a very long ugly summer for Villa now.

Brilliant. The right result, Fulham the better team and overcame some shocking decisions.

Villa not good enough, most chances created were half chances. :(

Grealish had two excellent ones and Hogan's header was a really good chance too, I thought.

Them and Wolves played the best football in the Championship this season. Good to see both of them come up. Their hard work starts now!

Very enjoyable game. Fulham played. Some lovely stuff in the first half and although Villa pressed them back in the second half they rarely threatened.

    Deserved victory for Fulham.

Ref shocking as usual but that’s nothing new in England. They are getting worse.

*Outstanding* talents generally find their way to a top division when they're almost 23. I can't see it tbh.

Next season will be Aston Villa's third consecutive in the Championship and the city of Birmingham will remain without a Premiership representative. Deserved promotion for Fulham. Jokanovic is the type of manager Arsenal should have appointed.

Lucky enough to get to go to this yesterday through family who are Fulham season ticket holders. Have a soft spot for Fulham as a club, difficult not to really once you get to know people involved in the club. Anyway, it was a fantastic day out from start to finish, great weather, met some fantastic fans from both sides. The game was a proper final, Fulham were very good in the first half and they played some lovely stuff. Fantastic bit of football for the goal. Villa worked their socks off in the second half but they never seemed to look like scoring. Completely missed the stamp by Fredricks. Nobody has mentioned the penalty claim by Kamara in the second half, after Fulham went down to ten men. Massive claim for that in the Fulham end. Guessing it wasn't a penalty after all. Sad to think Birmingham won't have a PL representative again next season. Would like to see Villa going up next season after yesterday. Incredible level of noise from their fans at times yesterday, bordering on deafening.

As a Villa fan no complaints here we didn’t deserve to go up automatically and didn’t deserve to go up by the playoffs either whereas if I were a Fulham fan given their form I would have been absolutely gutted not to have gone up by either.

    Absolutely my thoughts entirely.
