Dan Martin will probably have Aru annoying him as well after his withdrawal yesterday

I was going to say Dan but realistically he has little chance of winning

He should be tired from the giro

joke of the day! Sure he only came into form 2 days ago so the Tour will be a walk in the park for him!

Coming into form, no? So he still has plenty of ooompfh in the tank to peak for in the tour

Desperate stuff. Hope he is alright.

Cycling at that sustained high level isn't very healthy at all. Pinot, Yates, Aru, Chavez all suffering. You probably won't see Dumoulin again until the Vuelta.

If Froome goes on and wins the Tour now you could put him on par with Merckx in terms of Grand Tour ability.

20-25 lads left on the last climb, 6 of which are sky.

Normal order has been (depressingly) resumed.

Didn't see today's stage but called this out yesterday in the stage thread knowing it would happen.

Has been a pretty memorable giro all the same. Looking forward to the Vuelta, not so much the Tour.

Confirmed by the team, he really did not look well today, sad to see after a great Tour.

Was horrible to see him heaving and retching on the bike with his team mate trying to keep him going.

Why is Froome always looking down rather than looking in the direction he's going?

Cos he's got a stem fetish

Is this true? I didn't watch as I knew what the outcome would be.

Its either Sky and Froome rounding into form at the right time or they were pulling the brakes for the first couple of weeks to put on a bit of a show.

Yep, puccio led them on to the last climb and pulled for a while, with de lacruz, henao, ellisonde, poels and froome. Kiryenka abandoned yday, so only knees was behind
