Bale. Ronaldo's was class, but Bale's was in the final and he absolutely nailed it in terms of placement and power.

The ability of Ronaldo was phenomenal when you see the height of the ball when struck, but the visual delight of the goal was won by Bales.

Bale had to hook it to get it under the crossbar, serious technique there. As good as Ronaldo’s was, it was just a ‘normal’ overhead in comparison.

I dunno. I liked how Ronaldo had to run towards the flight of the ball and then threw himself at it, but Bale got unbelievable power and accuracy on the strike.

Two amazing and special goals in a short timeframe of each other but in terms of difficulty, distance from goal, execution, pace, height, trajectory and the fact it was ultimately was the deciding goal in the actual Champions League final makes Bale's the greatest Champions League goal and one of the greatest goals ever

But because Ronaldo is Ronaldo his goal may ultimately be more talked more about/remembered than Bale's

Bale is the better of the two, but still a very long way behind Zidane. Zidane's technique and timing side-on to the ball is incredible. I can't imagine there will be a better goal in the CL final in my lifetime.

It is a shame that Karius dropped that 3rd goal into the net, I laughed hard at it but for everybody else it really would have suited better to have Madrid win 2-1 on the back of that Bale screamer.

Even with the first mistake the post match debates would have been very different, more talk of Madrids extra quality than Liverpools dodgy keeper.
